Local singer/songwriter Catherine
Taddo performed this past weekend at the 3-day "Live From the Rock"
Folk Festival. The festival, which is located in the Township of Red Rock, Ontario
(100 km east of Thunder Bay is an annual celebration of music and the arts held
in Pull-a Log Park on the northern shore of Lake Superior. This year's festival
also features Canadian folk legends Ian Tamblyn and Valdy, as well as up-and-comer,
the Juno-nominated Pierre Schryer Band (also from Sault Ste. Marie). Taddo,
who has released a 3 song EP, also took part in two songwriting workshops: "Women
Who Write" and "Is That Suppose to Be a Love Song?" over the
weekend. Taddo, who is being musically accompanied by Lindsay Pugh, has been
receiving some airplay on Points North out of Sudbury. If you listen to CBC,
